The YMCA requires these documents prior to officially matching the selected candidate to the job.

Your Request For An Internship Has Been Approved and your organization has received Email Confirmation That Your Selected Intern Is Eligible to Participate in the High Demand Youth Internship Program or the Digital Skills Youth Internship Program

Your organization likely has a process whereby a candidate is presented with a written 'offer of employment' before starting their Internship. As part of your 'new hire' process it is important that you Email the YMCA a copy of 2 pieces of the Acceptable Identification and proof that they are a Post Secondary Graduate (typically a copy of degree).  Please print out the Wage Subsidy Application including the Terms, Conditions, and Attestations form, sign it and send it to your YMCA program office.

Please do this before the intern begins their work placement.

  • These documents are required as part of the Intern Payroll Confirmation Process
  • By copy we mean a scan or pdf copy sent electronically via Email to the YMCA program office.
  • You can compile the ID and degree together as one PDF or image.
