Instead of just connecting people to jobs, our partners give people hands-on training and work experience. This support is essential for long-term employment. Also, our partners hire locally, which creates connections between workers and their community. This significanlty increases the chances of success for the workers.

The Communications Intern will be responsible for implementing the external communications strategy set by the Development committee for the coming year. The communications coordinator will draft press releases and will be responsible for contacting outside media outlets to print or broadcast information on behalf of LITE.

This position also includes the creation of community or public awareness of the organization through social media, conducting presentations, as well as by attending events that represent the organization's interests.
