Metafor Software automates anomaly detection so that it only takes minutes for data center operators to identify inconsistencies that create errors and downtime. We are dedicated to hunting down anomalies in computing infrastructures where change is constant and continuous, to prevent downtime, improve performance, and reduce risk. 


Metafor is looking for a Technical Support QA Analyst with occasional customer support duties to grow our small but ambitious team. Be a High Demand Intern
You'll fit right in if you:

  • Have shown excellence in testing quality stuff that works
  • Are fanatical about on-time delivery
  • Are opinionated but not dogmatic
  • Can work well in a small mixed Senior/Junior team

You will be exposed to; 

  • Analyzing application requirements and prepare test design
  • Executing test cases based on scope, priority and timeline identified by QA Lead
  • Reporting defects and issues using Atlassian JIRA
  • Complying with company established testing processes
  • Working with QA Lead to provide testing progress and status
  • Filing customer-reported bug reports and communicating with them about our roadmap

Now, on to the requirements- The must-have list:

  • 1+ years of QA experience, ideally testing in a web environment

The really-want list:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience, ideally in a business-to-business SaaS environment
  • Experience with test automation and load testing; Particularly Selenium, J-Meter, or Soap UI
  • Experience with Linux systems administration

The nice-to-have list:

  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with testing REST API's
  • Experience with Atlassian tools
